On March 8, 2025, Gwendolyne Pascua Morin participated in the Philippine Embassy’s Paralúman 2025 event in Bern, Switzerland, in celebration of International Women’s Day and National Women’s Month. Themed “Muse, Inspiration, Guiding Compass,” the event highlighted the achievements of Filipino women in Switzerland.
As a Senior Research Associate at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Gwendolyne shared her experience as operations lead, ground controller, and security manager at the BIOTESC-European Space Agency User Support and Operations Center (ESA USOC), providing essential support for experiments aboard the International Space Station (ISS).
During the event, she spoke about her journey in STEM, the challenges she has overcome, and the strategies that helped her succeed, emphasizing the importance of resilience and determination in scientific and technological careers.
The celebration also featured Ms. Sarah Reyes, an entrepreneur and art advocate, and together they engaged with the Filipino community in Switzerland, inspiring and guiding aspiring professionals across diverse fields.
