PS4E Announces “Community Impact Award” for the PlanIt Project at NASA Space Apps Challenge 2025 – Lucerne
For the very first time, the NASA Space Apps Challenge comes to Lucerne, offering an inspiring pre-event series of expert-led workshops and an exclusive Pre-Event Evening, leading up to an exciting two-day global hackathon. This event brings together innovators, researchers, entrepreneurs, and space enthusiasts worldwide to collaboratively solve real NASA challenges while connecting with key leaders from the Swiss and European space ecosystems.
At this occasion, PS4E is proud to announce the presentation of the Community Impact Award to the PlanIt Project team during the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2025 – Lucerne. This special recognition celebrates projects that combine technological innovation with meaningful contributions to social and environmental sustainability.
The award acknowledges PlanIt’s exceptional approach to urban planning, leveraging cutting-edge technology to foster community-centered and ecologically responsible solutions. The initiative impressed both the event organizers and external partners for its potential to generate tangible real-world benefits.
The Community Impact Award includes a total prize of CHF 3,000, consisting of CHF 1,500 from NASA Space Apps Lucerne and an additional CHF 1,500 personally contributed by PS4E to support the team’s continued development.
